Cyberlink is a company that you likely best know for its PowerDVD player software, but it’s entire suite of software covers everything from editing photos and video, to burning discs, watching movies, and even file backup and audio editing. The Taiwan-based company announced this week the launch of its latest version of CyberLink Media Suite 14, which packs all 15 of CyberLink’s content and media product programs into one very affordable package.
A few of the notable feature updates to the suite over Media Suite 13 are drag-and-drop video templates to make editing your videos for a certain look much quicker, Photoshop-esque layer editing and portrait retouching tools for photo design, as well as a new video player mode that CyberLink claims enables a “truly cinematic movie experience on big-screen TVs.”

PowerDVD, the DVD/Disc playing software headlines the programs in Media Suite 14, which also includes PowerDirector (video editing), PhotoDirector (photo editing), Power2Go (disc burning), MediaEspresso (media conversion), Media Show (media catalog/organization), Wave Editor 2 (audio editing), and more.
Media Suite 14 is now available for download from CyberLink over on the company’s website, with the Ultra version coming in at the price of $130 and the Ultimate version (which includes extra mobile apps and movie making content packs) costing a bit more at $150. If you happen to already own a previous version of CyberLink’s Media Suite, you can pick up Media Suite 14 for the upgrade price of just $70.
