The Apple Watch Series 5 is the best overall smartwatch you can buy right now. If you want something less pricey but still functional and chic, though, you might want to look into Fossil’s lineup of wearables. Amazon is currently holding a sale on the Fossil Men’s Gen 4 Explorist HR which lets you in on up to 35% discount.

A variety of style combinations are enjoying discounts at the moment, but the best sale price we’ve seen is for the blue/brown and rose gold/black variants with leather straps. Instead of $350, you can get one today for only $179. Whether you’re looking for a gift or just want to style up your everyday look, don’t pass up the chance to grab the Fossil Explorist HR smartwatch for less than $200.

Steering away from the boxy, techie profile of most smartwatches, Fossil designed the Explorist HR to look like a classic mechanical watch. It flaunts an understated, masculine tone coupled with a luxe build quality that you’ll be proud to show off. The watch works well with casual and formal outfits, but you can always play around with the watch faces and even personalize it with your Instagram or Facebook photos. You’ll never run out of styling options.

Pairing this smartwatch will enable real-time notifications. It will alert you on calls, text messages, weather, apps, and more through a gentle buzz. You can also use it to control your music, manage your calendar, and set custom goals and alarm. The Fossil Explorist HR smartwatch is compatible with both Android (O.S 4.4 and later) and iPhones (iOS 9.3 and up), but the experience can be different. Android users enjoy greater battery life and can respond to messages and answer calls directly from the watch. iOS users, on the other hand, will have to put up with quicker battery draining and non-interactive notifications.

The Fossil Explorist HR is far from being a full-fledged activity tracker, but it has a few fitness-related tricks up its sleeves. It can monitor your running distance through the untethered GPS and can also measure your heart rate automatically during a workout session. For further fitness coaching and recommendations, you may opt to download the Google Fit app.

Dress up your wrist with the fashion and functionality of the Fossil Men’s Gen 4 Explorist HR. Both the blue/brown and rose gold/black models with leather bands are discounted on Amazon for only $179.

Be sure to browse through our curated deals page for the latest discounts on fitness trackers and other smartwatches.

It looks like it will stay the same as the last five years.
The back of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

What's happened? This week, China's Quality Certification Center released information about a battery (EB-BS04898ABY) with a maximum capacity of 4,855mAh. That's the same capacity as was previously seen in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and fans have taken this certification to mean the Galaxy S26 Ultra will not see a capacity increase after all.

The Samsung Galaxy Ultra models have had the same battery capacity for the last five years.

Galaxy Tab S10 Lite

What's happened? Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, a budget-friendly alternative to the Galaxy Tab S10. The device has been rumored for months, but this is the first time Samsung has officially acknowledged its existence.
