Beats Studio 3

The Beats Studio 3 have been one of the most popular over-the-ear wireless headphones since their debut in 2017, and with good reason. With superb comfort, sound quality, battery life, and excellent active noise cancellation (ANC), they’re a great choice for music fans who want the head-hugging experience of a set of full-size headphones. Right now, the Beats Studio 3 are just $200 at Best Buy for Black Friday — $150 off their regular price — making this one of the best times of the year to pick them up.

If you’re an iPhone user, you’ll appreciate the easy access to Siri, and super-simple Bluetooth pairing offered by Apple’s custom W1 chip. Simply unlock your iPhone, turn on the Studio 3 and place them near your phone. That’s it. With 22 hours of battery life, these wireless headphones will last all day with room to spare, and can easily get you through even the longest of flights. Should the battery ever die, a 10-minute quick-charge is enough to get you three more hours of life.

Beats Solo 3

Another great deal this Black Friday is Best Buy’s price on the Beats Solo 3, which are 50% off at just $150. Beats fans know that scoring these wireless headphones at half-price is a rare event, so if you’ve had your eye on these great on-ear Bluetooth headphones, now’s the time to pull the trigger. Available in a wide range of ultra-cool color combos, the Solo 3 deliver the kind of sound quality you’d expect from full-size headphones, but in a much smaller package that folds up easily for travel or storage.

The Solo 3 have an exceptional 40-hour battery life, which means you’ll be able to go several days without recharging if you choose. If it does happen to die, just five minutes of quick-charging will give you three hours of playback time. If you can’t even spare those five minutes, the included audio cable with inline microphone means you’ll always be able to keep the tunes going.

Just like the Studio 3, the Solo3 come with Apple’s W1 chip for fast and easy pairing, and you’ll also get a soft-shell carry-case in the box to help keep them looking their best.

YouTube is adding a new discovery chip to its Home page that turns a typed request into a personalized stream of videos.

The feature, called "Your custom feed," gives people a more direct way to break out of the usual recommendation mix. A viewer can ask for something outside their normal watch patterns, or narrow the experience around a particular moment, such as short guided meditations after work.

Sony launches True RGB TVs in the Bravia series, and it’s the start of a whole new era
Your living room is about to get a serious cinema upgrade.
Sony Bravia True RGB TV mounted on a wall

Sony just announced two new BRAVIA televisions, the BRAVIA 9 II and BRAVIA 7 II, and they might usher in a new era of living room TVs. Built around a technology the company is calling True RGB, instead of using a single white backlight like most TVs, these displays use independently controlled red, green, and blue LEDs to produce color directly from the source.

Sony claims this results in the largest color volume ever achieved in its home TV lineup. The company has been working toward this for over two decades, starting with the Qualia 005 back in 2004. True RGB is Sony's attempt to combine the best of Mini LED and OLED into one panel, offering purer colors, brighter images, and better performance in well-lit rooms.
