Cyberpunk 2077’s refund situation just got complicated as PlayStation owners are reporting that Sony is not offering refunds for the game. The news comes after CD Projekt Red told players they could refund digital copies through Sony and Microsoft directly.

PlayStation users are sharing screenshots of messages they’ve received from Sony’s support team, which say the game is not eligible for return. In one email, Sony says “CD Projekt Red is currently working on patches and updates to fix bugs and crashes, and to improve overall gameplay experience of Cyberpunk 2077.”

Originally, developer CD Projekt Red tweeted that players could opt to get a refund for the game, which is experiencing major bugs on last-gen consoles. The company tweeted: “For copies purchased digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively.” Many took that to mean that the developer had reached a deal with both companies to coordinate refunds, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

CD Projekt Red reportedly clarified the refund situation with investors in a call yesterday, according to Kotaku. “Our procedure here with Microsoft and Sony is not different than with any other title released on any of those storefronts. I want to state that clearly, as there seem to be certain misconceptions,” said Michał Nowakowski, senior vice president of business development.

The developer set up an email help line for customers who were having issues landing refunds. According to some players, the developer is now recommending that players hold off on contacting Sony at all now and asking them to wait for CD Projekt Red to get back to them.

Sonystas decepcionados, não desistam. A CD Projekt Red deve mediar o pedido de reembolso do Cyberpunk 2077 diretamente com a Sony.

Steam Machine confirmed to land this summer, but we’re still in the dark about its price
Steam Machine is getting closer to launch, with broader game verification arriving before Valve reveals what it’ll cost.
Steam Machine with Steam Controller

Valve has confirmed that Steam Machine is shipping this summer, giving PC gamers a real launch window for its SteamOS living room PC. The missing piece is still price, and that’s the detail many buyers need before they can decide whether it fits their setup.

The update came as Valve expanded its Verified program to cover Steam Machine and Steam Frame. For Steam Machine, games will be checked for default controller support, default graphics settings, and how well they run without manual setup. Valve says the hardware is roughly six times as powerful as Steam Deck, while still using SteamOS, the Steam interface, and Proton.

Corsair NIGHTSWORD v2 Wireless Stream Deck gaming mouse side view

Corsair has launched the Nightsword v2 Wireless SD Stream Deck gaming mouse, a right-handed wireless mouse with a dedicated Stream Deck launch button, at Computex 2026.

The Stream Deck support is an in-house integration rather than a third-party collaboration, since Corsair owns Elgato. It brings Elgato’s shortcut system directly to the mouse, letting gamers, streamers, and creators trigger app, gaming, and workflow controls without reaching for a separate desktop panel.

The PC and laptop industry has run on Intel and AMD silicon so long that most people don’t even question whether these are the only options.

Nvidia just answered that question at Computex 2026, in the form of the RTX Spark superchip, and Jensen Huang’s comments about what comes next suggest that it wasn’t a one-time experiment.
