What’s happened? The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has announced three new products in global markets, including the OnePlus 15R, which is expected to feature an 8,000 mAh battery.

  • Along with the OnePlus 15R, the company has also announced the Pad Go 2 and the Watch Lite, expanding its global product ecosystem.
  • However, this is just an announcement about the products; they’re not available to purchase yet.
  • The products “will be unveiled” in full on December 17, 2025.

Why is this important? Along with the devices’ monikers, the company has also announced a couple of pre-order offers for buyers in the United Kingdom.

  • Those who order the OnePlus 15R from December 17 will save £100 and receive a 120W adapter kit, a magnetic case, a coupon of up to £100 upon trading in an older smartphone, and a 10% additional discount for verified students or corporate users.
  • Similarly, prospective buyers of the OnePlus Pad Go 2, the Android tablet, will save £50 upon pre-ordering the device. They’ll also get a free watch worth £249, an extra £30 off with trade-in, and a 10% additional discount for students or corporate customers.
  • Given that the pre-order window begins on December 17, 2025, the products’ official release date could be later in the month.

Why should I care? The latest lineup of OnePlus devices has something for everyone.

  • The OnePlus 15R will be available globally in two colors: Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze. Furthermore, the handsets will feature an IP69K water- and dust-resistance rating, the same as the OnePlus 15.
  • If the OnePlus 15R retains the same battery capacity as its purported Chinese variant, the OnePlus Ace 6T, which is confirmed to launch with an 8,000 mAh battery, it could be the largest cell on a phone in the United States.
  • The OnePlus Pad Go 2 (with optional 5G connectivity) is designed to offer a high-quality Android tablet experience at an accessible price in the mid-range segment. It will also debut in two colorways: Shadow Black and Lavender Drift.
  • The OnePlus Watch Lite also follows a similar philosophy and will arrive in a Silver Steel finish.

OK, what’s next? While this is the announcement of the products, they are due for a launch on December 17, and we expect the release to take place before the year ends.
