Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell shoots Satan in the face in January 2015

They’ve taken on rival gangs, big business, government stormtroopers, armies of undead, and alien invaders, so of course the next stop for the Third Street Saints is Hell. Deep Silver used PAX Prime 2014 to announce Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, coming to PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles on January 27, 2015. It’ll be the first appearance on PS4 and Xbox One for the series, though it’s joined on the same day by Saints Row IV: Re-Elected.

Gat Out of Hell follows Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington, both playable characters, as they venture into the underworld to save the leader of the Saints (also the President of the United States). The trailer below suggests that the Saints boss is kidnapped by demonic forces so that he (or she!) can be married off to a woman that appears to be the daughter of Satan. There’s a whole lot more to this though: “Historical icons, old friends, a talking gun, [and] a full length musical number” are all part of the game, according to the press release.

Deep Silver is calling Gat Out of Hell a “standalone expansion,” meaning you won’t need to own Saints Row IV to play it, but you probably will have to buy it — for $20 — as a download-only proposition. Get your first look in the trailer below, though take note: There’s a naughty word in there.

Valve has officially raised the prices of the Steam Deck OLED in the US and several other global markets, and the increases are substantial. The move makes the company the latest major gaming platform holder to hike hardware pricing amid rising component costs and ongoing global economic pressures.

The biggest shock comes from the higher-end models. The 1TB Steam Deck OLED now costs $950 in the US, up from its original $650 launch price. Meanwhile, the 512GB OLED version has jumped from $550 to $790.

CD Projekt Red is sending Geralt back to The Witcher 3. The studio has announced Songs of the Past, a third expansion for Wild Hunt coming in 2027 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The news pulls a decade-old RPG back into the center of the conversation. The Witcher 3 expansion puts players on the Path with Geralt of Rivia again, with Fool’s Theory co-developing alongside the studio.
