Extended Walmart Cyber Week Deals: Last Chance to Save on TVs, consoles, & more

This story is part of Digital Trends' Cyber Monday coverage 2025

The 2019 Walmart Black Friday weekend blowout sale ended with a bang a week ago, but America’s number one big-box retailer wasted no time in throwing its weight behind Cyber Monday with a bunch of new deals as Christmas looms closer. And after the Black Friday dust settles and the warring Black Friday hordes have dispersed without leaving behind too many unnecessary casualties, Cyber Monday and Cyber Week are the best opportunities of the remaining holiday shopping season to find last-minute bargains right from the comfort of your couch before Santa starts loading up his sleigh.

During the big sales we’ve seen in 2019 so far, Walmart ran many of its biggest rollbacks on pricey electronics like 4K smart TVs, wireless headphones, desktop computers, gaming laptops, and video game consoles (primarily the PS4 and Xbox One, but Walmart has also had many of the best Nintendo Switch bundles). And while Cyber Week has wrapped up, the holiday shopping season is still going strong for a couple more weeks and now may be your last chance to snatch up those must-have gifts at deep discounts before they’re gone. The good news is that we’ve smoked out the best remaining Cyber Monday and Cyber Week deals right here:

How to shop the remaining Walmart Cyber Week 2019 deals

The primary rule of holiday shopping is that if you spot a smoking hot Cyber Week deal on something you really want, don’t drag your feet. Walmart changes up its sale offerings frequently, usually swapping them out after two or three days at the most (if they don’t sell out before then, that is). As far as what particular deals to look out for, know that while Walmart has always offered great rollbacks on iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, video games and consoles, and other pricey stuff during Cyber Monday and Cyber Week, it’s arguably the best place to shop for 4K smart TV deals due to its unbeatable selection with the biggest discounts to match.

Yet Walmart’s real trump card in the Cyber Week wars, and a major weapon wields has against online retailers like Amazon, is ship-to-store with local pickup. When you’re checking out on the online storefront, you can almost always have your purchase shipped to a local Walmart where you can then go and pick it up. People who don’t like the idea of packages sitting on their porches while they’re not at home, or those who already go to their local brick-and-mortar Walmart to shop for things like groceries, should definitely consider picking up expensive purchases like this. This service alone gives Walmart a huge boost against other retailers during these big online sales.

Another reason to shop at Walmart is that it offers free home delivery (and often free two-day shipping) on a ton of its online inventory, which is especially nice when you’re ordering bulky freight items like 4K TVs and furniture. Experienced shoppers already know that complimentary shipping from many retailers is often sluggish, while faster free options may only be offered with a paid membership package — we’re looking at you, Amazon — if they’re available at all. Also keep in mind that if online inventory is running low or an item is out of stock, a Walmart close by might still have it, meaning you can order it on the website and then go pick it up in-person (no ship-to-store necessary). Everything listed on Walmart’s storefront shows such local availability as well as what your pickup options may be.

Electronics, Phone, Mobile Phone

There's no shortage of messaging apps out there. The past decade has given us more options than we know what to do with, largely because smartphones demanded something better than plain old SMS.

Both the App Store and the Play Store are packed with apps that promise to revolutionize the way we communicate. Most of them didn't make it. The truth is, a messaging app is only as good as the number of people using it, and most apps never cross that threshold.

My main computer is an M4 iPad Pro, but a 2021 iPad still surprises me
Rear shell of 2021 iPad Pro.

This might sound controversially ridiculous, but for the past few years, my primary computer has been an iPad Pro. I first got interested in pushing tablets this way when the M1 version came out, and I’ve kept using them all the way up to the newest M4-powered model.

A few weeks ago, I went back to my M1 iPad Pro to see how well it handles next-gen apps that are pushing the boundaries of graphics and AI on a mobile device. So, the big question is whether the four-year-old slate can still serve as a reliable workhorse in 2025?
