Italian automobile company Bertone has unveiled some preliminary sketches showing their latest concept car. The Bertone Nuccio—named after company founder Giovanni Betone’s son, Guiseppe “Nuccio” Bertone—is reported to be a mid-engine saloon akin to past classics of Bertone design.

While little is known about the Nuccio, like drivetrain, materials, or any specific specs, the car is said to feature a wedge-shaped profile that sits very low to the ground.

It’s not every day a company makes it to 100 years old, but with the rich automotive history enjoyed by Bertone it comes as no surprise either. Having over the years styled cars for the likes of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, and many more, it’s no wonder then that in 2006 Guiseppe Bertone—a man who led his father’s company through some of its most successful years—was inducted into the Autmotive Hall of Fame in Detroit

The introduction of the Nuccio is meant to commemorate the company’s impressive 100-year anniversary and will make its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month.

This AI checks if your driving habits signal crash risk
Researchers say eye tracking, heart rate, and personality data can flag risk early.
Person, Wristwatch, Car

A new AI model is taking aim at a question most drivers don’t ask soon enough. How likely are you to crash before you even start the engine?

The system looks at how you behave behind the wheel, pulling in signals like eye movement, heart rate, and personality traits to flag warning patterns early. Instead of waiting for real-world mistakes, it relies on simulated driving tests to surface behaviors linked to dangerous outcomes.
