The Lamborghini Aventador is something that is on every motoring enthusiast’s wishlist – don’t pretend like it’s not. Awesome as the supercar is, Mansory has managed to make it even more so with the car’s upcoming unveil at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
Starting under the hood, the monster 6.5-liter V12 receives two superchargers, new pistons, connecting rods and rod bearings, cylinder heads, and crankshaft. The entire exhaust system has been replaced completely as well. All of these improvements allow the tweaked version to reach a bone-crunching 1600 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque with a rumored 0 to 60 in a brain-melting 2.1 seconds.
As if that wasn’t cool enough, Mansory has added a new front fascia with daytime running lights and larger air intakes with Mansory-designed front wings and bonnet (Brit speak for hood).
Other exterior improvements include new side skirts, a new rear diffuser and bumper and a Mansory rear wing. The hood and engine bonnet have also been given a bespoke twist. 20-inch wheels are found on the front with 21-inch wheels on the rear, with Pirelli tires keeping hold of the road. I wouldn’t be surprised if this car started to fly.
The interior of the Carbonado GT seems straight out of a fighter jet with new leather upholstery and a new sports steering wheel. If you can’t find the start switch here is a tip: check the roof.
