You can now check a product’s price history spanning a whole year on Amazon

The 365-day window rolling out across the US, UK, and India gives every purchase decision a full year of context, not just the last 90 days.

Amazon’s AI shopping assistant Rufus can now show you a full 365 days of price history for a product. In other words, you now have access to a full year’s worth of pricing data, including when the product was available for a higher or lower price, and when the last price change took place, before buying anything.

Previously, the maximum available price history was 90 days, enough to catch up on a recent sale, but not enough to know whether a limited-time offer is actually the best price a product has been available in the last year.

How do you actually access price history?

There are two ways to access price history on Amazon. The first and simplest way is to hit the price history link sitting right next to the product price on any detail page. The second way is via Rufus, via the icon in the bottom-right corner of the Amazon app or the top navigation bar on desktop.

From there, you can ask the AI shopping assistant anything about the price, including “Has the price dropped recently?” or “What’s the lowest price this product has been available for in the last year?” The AI assistant will then show you the required results from a 30, 90, or 365-day window.

Amazon claims that over 50 million customers have already used the price history feature since it arrived in 2024, but I’d say that even more people have used the third-party websites or trackers, some of which even sent notifications of a price drop.

Who gets the full year of pricing data?

The 365-day window will be available to Amazon customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. What’s great is that it isn’t locked behind a paywall (not tied to the Amazon Prime membership). All existing customers of the platform have access to the one-year pricing history feature.

The timing is notable, as the Amazon Prime Day sale is returning in June 2026 (July 2026 in India). With a full year of pricing history, buyers will be able to tell whether a Prime Day discount is actually worth it or just regular pricing dressed up with a massive discount badge.

Apple just made the Mac mini more expensive without raising its price
Apple quietly drops its best-value Mac mini during the memory crunch
The M4 Mac mini on a desk.

Apple has quietly discontinued the $599 Mac mini, making the 256GB model no longer available for purchase. Rather than raising its price to reflect rising memory and NAND costs, the company simply pulled it from the lineup, leaving buyers with a steeper entry point than before.

Did Apple just raise the Mac mini’s price without calling it a price hike?

I held off on the MacBook Neo. I hope the next one fixes these 5 papercuts before I plonk cash
Apple nailed the price like never before, especially in a market where rising component costs are bothering manufacturers. But still, it's the missing bits that are making me wait for round two.
Computer, Electronics, Laptop

The MacBook Neo stopped me in my tracks, not because it's a beautiful piece of tech that appeals to the enthusiast inside me. It’s the overall pitch that Apple puts on the table — aluminum build, efficient silicon, and great battery life — all at an implausible price tag of $599. I wanted to experience it, and I almost bought it a couple of weeks ago.

But I didn’t. And it wasn’t because Neo is a bad machine. I got to experience the device for a couple of days (thanks to my friend who splurged his money on it), and the more I dug into what Apple had left out to hit the astonishingly low price, the more I felt like pushing my purchase until the Neo gets better.

Good luck buying a Mac mini anytime soon

Apple's smallest desktop PC is having issues with staying available. During the company's Q2 2026 earnings call, Apple confirmed that the Mac mini and Mac Studio may take "several months" to reach supply-demand balance. This came in response to a question about Mac availability, with Apple confirming that the demand had surpassed expectations.

Why the Mac mini is hard to find
