DT Giveaway: A pair of Vortex 2 robots and gaming pad

Add as a preferred source on Google
Wouldn’t holiday shopping be a lot more fun if you didn’t have to, you know, pay for stuff? We thought so too. That’s why we’re giving away some of our favorite gadgets – from drones to smartphones – for the eight days leading up to Christmas. Enter to win as many giveaways as you want, and don’t forget to keep checking back as new contests open up every day!

Looking to get your kids interested in programming and coding, in a fun and engaging way? Check out the Vortex from DFRobot. Designed to teach children a variety of different STEM skills, The Vortex aims to combat the trend of over-reliance on virtual games and screen time, and instead allows children to combine physical and virtual play.

It’s more than just a programmable robot, too — The Vortex also comes with four pre-programmed games, including bumping fight, golf, driving, shaking/dancing, and soccer; all of which are designed for children aged six and up. The Vortex bot can also connect to the Vortexbot app on iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth. By downloading the accompanying programming app WhenDo, children have complete freedom to create, play, and program new games.

A pair of Vortex Robots are currently retailing for $169, but in honor of the launch, we’re giving away a pair for free! Good Luck. Contest over

DJI Avata 360° drone.

DJI has officially entered the 360° drone arena with the launch of the Avata 360. It’s the company’s first-ever fully immersive FPV drone, and a direct shot at the Antigravity A1, a rival built by an Insta360-incubated brand. Looks like the drone wars just got more interesting.

What makes the Avata 360 worth looking at?

I transferred all my chats from other AI apps to Gemini — and it works flawlessly
Google Gemini Graphics Featured

You know that moment when AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude suddenly lose the plot mid-conversation and start hallucinating like they’re absolutely sure they’re right? Yeah…it’s equal parts funny and painfully annoying. My usual reaction is switching between apps, hoping one of them gets it right. But the real problem is that I have to start over every single time. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop explaining my life story to different AIs, one after the other.

Now with Gemini, I can now jump in from other AI apps without that whole reset conversation. Finally, the Google gods have blessed us. I tried it out expecting the usual hiccups, but it was surprisingly smooth and quick.
