Xbox Games Showcase 2026 delivered one of the strongest Game Pass commitments Microsoft has made in years, with 17 titles confirmed to hit the subscription service on their respective launch days. The lineup spans titles launching this summer to early 2027 and includes some of the biggest franchises, from Gears of War and Fable to State of Decay and Minecraft.

The headliners

The most anticipated entries are Gears of War E-Day and Fable. Both have been in development for years and will be available on Game Pass from day one.

Other high-profile additions include State of Decay 3, Clockwork Revolution, and Senua, all due in 2027. Closer arrivals for subscribers include Halo: Campaign Evolved and Resonance: A Plague Legacy.

Dates to mark on your calendar

The first wave hits Game Pass this summer, starting with Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28. Resonance: A Plague Legacy follows on August 27, then Valor Mortis on September 27 and Minecraft Dungeons II on September 29. Gears of War E-Day will close out 2026 on October 6.

The 2027 additions include Persona 4 Revival on February 18, Fable on February 23, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember in early 2027, and Spyro: A Realm Beyond in Spring 2027. Clockwork Revolution, Persona 6, State of Decay 3, Bad Magpie, Senua, Vivarium, Join Us, and Magicians: The Devil’s Deal are all slated for 2027 without confirmed dates.

The showcase comes just two months after Microsoft cut Game Pass Ultimate pricing from $29.99 to $22.99 a month, a move driven by subscriber losses following a price hike last year. A day-one slate this large, headlined by such highly anticipated titles, gives the subscription a much stronger case for prospective subscribers.

Ninja Theory, the studio behind the Hellblade series, revealed the next title in the franchise at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday. The new action-adventure game, dubbed Senua, is a direct response to the criticism that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and its 2024 sequel Senua's Saga: Hellblade II prioritized presentation over gameplay. Studio head Dom Matthews confirmed the game is coming in 2027 to Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass.
