Telltale Games swept many of the gaming awards at the end of 2012, seducing audiences while breaking their hearts with the brutal, beautiful The Walking Dead. People have been chomping at the bit to get more of the story since last fall, when Episode 5 of the series released on consoles, PC, and mobile. Telltale has been willing to say that Season 2 is coming along, but details have been scarce. Surprises abound at E3, though, and Sony began their press conference with a good one: the reveal of a sidestory coming for PS Vita, The Walking Dead: 400 Days.

Sony Computer Entertainment’s Jack Tretton didn’t announce anything more than the title, but he did say that Walking Dead: 400 Days would be available for the PS Vita sometime during summer 2013 alongside the rest of the series. To date, The Walking Dead has only been available on Sony’s home console, PlayStation 3.

Mortal Kombat 1 won’t be NetherRealm’s last trip into the arena. After the 2023 reboot, Ed Boon said in a Collider interview that the team is "definitely pursuing another Mortal Kombat game," giving players the clearest sign yet that the series remains active.

NetherRealm has confirmed direction while leaving the reveal details blank. It hasn’t shared a title, launch window, platforms, roster details, or story direction. The next Mortal Kombat game is real enough to discuss, but not ready enough to show.
