We got a chance to check out another exciting product from Outdoor Technology. The adorably named Turtle Shell from OT is a boombox that comes with a host a features; chief among them are its wireless capability and rugged yet elegant turtle-shell like design.

While still just a prototype, and more than likely a year off, the OT Turtle Shell allows users to pair the Turtle Shell with virtually any Bluetooth enabled device such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. It also features a built-in mic for speaker and phone functionality.

The Turtle Shell is both shock and dust proof and comes with OT flexible cord allowing you wrap it around a set of handlebars, a tree limb, or just your desk. The tiny device is designed to fit in the palm of your hand, but while it might be small, it’s built to provide some big sound.

Specs wise, Outdoor Technology tells us that its Turtle Shell boombox will be capable of nine to ten hours of High-Fi sound or talk time and talk time as well as 240 hours of standby time. It utilizes a mini USB to USB charge cable, has a range of 33 feet to any Bluetooth device, and a 3.5 millimeter jack for added plug-in functionality.

Pricing isn’t official yet, but Outdoor Technology is aiming for around $129. Be sure to check out our preview of Outdoor Technology’s equally cool Rocks touch interface earbuds.

With automated routes and advanced mapping, Yardcare N1600 PRO robot lawn mower is made to meet modern lifestyle with smart precision.
Grass, Lawn, Plant

The weekend morning dread is a real situation, and homeowners know it pretty well. I've often woken up with the realization that the next few hours will be spent toiling with the hum of a petrol engine machine and hours of pushing a heavy mower around the yard. We’ve all been there, sweating under the sun, in our quest to achieve a green carpet that looks fine at best, but rarely ever achieves the work done by an expert. A fully automated solution should address all those problems, but finding a reliable one isn't a cakewalk.

The hassles of setting up boundary wire, mastering the navigation, and requiring constant manual supervision don't really sound like an autonomous dream. But tech is finally catching up, and one of its best specimens is Yardcare’s N1600PRO. The latest from Yardcare ensures that lawn care no longer means non-stop manual effort, but relaxed efficiency. If you're a homeowner who is increasingly leaning toward automation to take care of your yard space, Yardcare is here to help you make that smart shift with the N1600PRO.
