In a new addition to the long list of R2-D2 kitchen appliances, the astromech droid is back — this time, to brew you up a fresh cup of joe.

New from ThinkGeek is the Star Wars R2-D2 Coffee Press, which is exactly as the name implies. For $40, fans of the intergalactic franchise can pre-order the press, which is set to ship in mid-December, just in time for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The R2-D2 Coffee Press holds 32 oz. of coffee, enough to fill four cups to the brim. With BPA-free plastic housing, a glass body, and a food-grade stainless steel plunger and filter assembly, the press features all the necessities to compete with most coffee presses at this price range. The glass carafe is also removable and dishwasher safe.

It works just like any other coffee press — just add your grounds and boiling water, and after a quick plunge a few minutes later, your coffee is ready to drink. The press also has a clear body instead of R2-D2’s traditional metal, so you can watch your coffee while it brews.

ThinkGeek’s product description for the press says it all — it’s clear R2-D2 will be there to pick you up at your worst morning moments with a fresh cup of coffee.

“Let R2 help you navigate your mornings more successfully with this Star Wars R2-D2 Coffee Press. He’s happy to help a human in need. Put your grounds and boiling water in his glass body, brew for a few minutes, plunge, and he’ll serve up 32 oz. of piping hot coffee,” the site reads. “For folks playing along at home, that’s 4 cups, so even if your motivator is so bad that the Jawas put you back on the scrap heap, he can still get you going.”

With automated routes and advanced mapping, Yardcare N1600 PRO robot lawn mower is made to meet modern lifestyle with smart precision.
Grass, Lawn, Plant

The weekend morning dread is a real situation, and homeowners know it pretty well. I've often woken up with the realization that the next few hours will be spent toiling with the hum of a petrol engine machine and hours of pushing a heavy mower around the yard. We’ve all been there, sweating under the sun, in our quest to achieve a green carpet that looks fine at best, but rarely ever achieves the work done by an expert. A fully automated solution should address all those problems, but finding a reliable one isn't a cakewalk.

The hassles of setting up boundary wire, mastering the navigation, and requiring constant manual supervision don't really sound like an autonomous dream. But tech is finally catching up, and one of its best specimens is Yardcare’s N1600PRO. The latest from Yardcare ensures that lawn care no longer means non-stop manual effort, but relaxed efficiency. If you're a homeowner who is increasingly leaning toward automation to take care of your yard space, Yardcare is here to help you make that smart shift with the N1600PRO.
