Never miss your fix: The Cafflano Klassic is a kettle, grinder, filter, mug in 1

Hansang Yoon, the CEO of the Beanscorp company, loved coffee so much, he would drink it up to four times a day. After deciding he didn’t want to invest in a pricey espresso machine, he chose to create his own coffee-making device, and Cafflano Klassic was born.

This device includes everything you need to make the perfect cup of coffee, minus the beans and hot water. Cafflano Klassic includes a drip kettle, hand mill grinder, metal filter dripper, and a tumbler cup. It all comes together in what looks like an ordinary travel mug.

The first Kickstarter campaign for the device was a flop. However, the team tweaked the machine and ran a second campaign. Some of the improvements they’ve made are making the device lighter and decreasing the size of the tumbler, which now has a 15-ounce capacity.

To make your to-go cup, adjust the grinder to your desired fineness, add some whole beans, and crank away. Remove the grinder, pour hot water in, and leave it alone for 45 seconds. Later, you can add more water if you like. Take out the filter, and you’ve got yourself a cup of coffee, wherever you happen to be.

The designers know physically grinding your own beans won’t appeal to everyone. “Grinding whole beans with hand mill grinder may require some effort, but we believe soothing coffee aroma wafted while grinding will surely compensate the effort and make users happy,” they wrote on the Kickstarter page. In fact, 658 backers pledged £31,524, well beyond the £1,000 funding goal, which was originally just meant to help get the project’s original backers their Cafflano Klassics.

Though the Kickstarter has ended, the Cafflano Klassic is now in its second preordering phase, and you can have your own for $99. The product is all ready to go, and you should get yours in May.

Update 4/16/2015: Updated to reflect the Kickstarter has ended.

Beyond the Boundary Wire: How Yardcare and the New N1600PRO are Leading the Robotic Mower Revolution
With automated routes and advanced mapping, Yardcare N1600 PRO robot lawn mower is made to meet modern lifestyle with smart precision.
Grass, Lawn, Plant

The weekend morning dread is a real situation, and homeowners know it pretty well. I've often woken up with the realization that the next few hours will be spent toiling with the hum of a petrol engine machine and hours of pushing a heavy mower around the yard. We’ve all been there, sweating under the sun, in our quest to achieve a green carpet that looks fine at best, but rarely ever achieves the work done by an expert. A fully automated solution should address all those problems, but finding a reliable one isn't a cakewalk.

The hassles of setting up boundary wire, mastering the navigation, and requiring constant manual supervision don't really sound like an autonomous dream. But tech is finally catching up, and one of its best specimens is Yardcare’s N1600PRO. The latest from Yardcare ensures that lawn care no longer means non-stop manual effort, but relaxed efficiency. If you're a homeowner who is increasingly leaning toward automation to take care of your yard space, Yardcare is here to help you make that smart shift with the N1600PRO.
