The Majesty 155 isn’t just a superyacht, it’s a smart home at sea

Yes, it’s big. Yes, it’s grand. But the Majesty 155 superyacht is also smart. Thanks to a state-of-the-art audio-visual system from Archimedia, the owner of this 154-foot yacht definitely doesn’t need a bigger boat. It’s not just the size that’s impressive; it’s also an award winner.

The CEDIA Awards celebrate excellence in home technology and integration across the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, and Pakistan. While most of the awards focus on land-based projects, the best yacht installation award takes us out to the high seas to gawk at some high-tech boats.

On-wall monitors running Savant Control were placed strategically around the Majesty 155, giving the owner access to audio and video distribution throughout the yacht. The system can also be controlled by iPads through the Ruckus wireless network, or other devices running Savant. Personal devices can also be connected to HDMI and USB ports throughout the boat.

Each cabin houses a smart, full-HD TV ranging between 40 and 60 inches in size, which take advantage of the Kaleidescape movie server, an Apple TV, or Satellite receivers to playback media. Onboard Bluetooth and AirPlay also allow guests to stream media to any of the displays.

Most of the smart TVs are also integrated as mirror TVs to match the yacht’s aesthetic, and a drop-down screen accompanies the outdoor TVs to shield them from the sun. In addition to controlling the vessel’s audio and visual outputs with the Savant Control system, lighting and navigation systems are also integrated into the control interface.

While Archimedia’s A/V system certainly deserves some recognition, so does the rest of the Majesty 155. Gulf Craft boasts of the the vessel’s fuel efficiency, stating that the hull design and the boat’s twin 2,011-horsepower MTU 12V 4,000 M63 engines allow the Majesty 155 to cover more than 4,200 nautical miles at an average max speed of 16 knots (18 miles per hour). Although, with all the awesome tech on this boat, who wants to get to their destination any quicker than they have to?

Beyond the Boundary Wire: How Yardcare and the New N1600PRO are Leading the Robotic Mower Revolution
With automated routes and advanced mapping, Yardcare N1600 PRO robot lawn mower is made to meet modern lifestyle with smart precision.
Grass, Lawn, Plant

The weekend morning dread is a real situation, and homeowners know it pretty well. I've often woken up with the realization that the next few hours will be spent toiling with the hum of a petrol engine machine and hours of pushing a heavy mower around the yard. We’ve all been there, sweating under the sun, in our quest to achieve a green carpet that looks fine at best, but rarely ever achieves the work done by an expert. A fully automated solution should address all those problems, but finding a reliable one isn't a cakewalk.

The hassles of setting up boundary wire, mastering the navigation, and requiring constant manual supervision don't really sound like an autonomous dream. But tech is finally catching up, and one of its best specimens is Yardcare’s N1600PRO. The latest from Yardcare ensures that lawn care no longer means non-stop manual effort, but relaxed efficiency. If you're a homeowner who is increasingly leaning toward automation to take care of your yard space, Yardcare is here to help you make that smart shift with the N1600PRO.
