The Nest Cam captures images and video up to 1080p full HD resolution video with a 130-degree horizontal field of view. The camera has passive infrared night vision with 8 red LEDs so you can observe what the camera sees 24/7. You can view live video at any time via a Bluetooth connected smartphone or any Google Assistant-compatible smart display. The camera supports two-way audio so you can listen to what’s going on if one of your kids wakes up with a nightmare. You can talk through the Next Cam’s speaker, again with your smart phone or any connected Google Assistant-compatible smart speaker or smart display.

Using the camera’s integrated motion sensor with person detection and zone alerts, you can configure the Google Nest Cam Indoor security camera to send notifications to your smartphone. In addition to live video streaming, you can also see select images of a recorded event for free for up to three hours. If you subscribe to Nest Aware, starting at $6 a month, you can configure the camera to record and store video in cloud storage based on detected events or 24-hour continuous video recording.
