Ever moved into a new place, or decided your current place needed a major overhaul, but weren’t sure where to start? You know what colors you like, but how will they flow from one room to the next? And will all those accessories you want look good, or will they just clutter up the room? Most of us aren’t interior designers, so it can be tricky accurately imagining just how everything will turn out.

Enter: Home Design 3D. The iOS app, which the New York Times recently praised as one of the best, lets users create 3D renderings of their homes, and afterwards, fill it up with design elements and splash paint onto the walls. You can even add texture to the color to give the feel of wallpaper, if that’s your thing.

It’s pretty simple to use. You start out by laying out the floor plan of your home. Adjust the measurements and shapes for accuracy – this will require some measurement on your part, which is easy enough, especially if you don’t have odd-shaped rooms – and build away.

You’re able to choose from a slew of door/doorway shapes and sizes, and really create a spot-on rendering of your abode. Once the floor plan is ready, you just press the 3D button and – voila! – your home has become a digital getaway. Add carpeting or hardwood or tiled flooring, windows, and, of course, fill it up with furniture and accessories, and figure out what works best for you.

The app is available in the iTunes App Store for $7 but, as the Time pointed out, the one irritating part about Home Design 3D is that, in order to access certain pieces of furniture and textures, you’ll have to drop even more money. But hey, it beats hiring a professional, right?

Why buy a Pixel right now?
Google has always built the Pixel line around one idea: the smartest possible Android experience. With the Pixel 10 series, that philosophy gets a significant upgrade thanks to deep Gemini AI integration: Google's most capable AI assistant to date. It handles everything from real-time call screening and live translation to on-device photo editing and natural-language search, and it does so more seamlessly than any other Android on the market.
Add in Google's reputation for exceptional cameras, clean software, and the longest OS update commitments of any Android manufacturer, and the Pixel 10 lineup makes a compelling case for itself even at full price. At these discounted prices, it's a genuinely hard argument to beat.
