UEFA Euro 2024 live stream: Can you watch the championship for free?

Add as a preferred source on Google

With each progressive match at Euro 2024, things only seem to get more captivating. We’ve already seen two thrilling quarterfinals, as Spain took down hosts Germany in extra time, while France ousted Portugal via penalties, and the action should continue to intensify as we get closer to the July 14 final in Berlin.

In the United States, all remaining Euro 2024 matches will be televised on Fox. Fortunately, if you don’t have cable, there are a lot of different ways you can watch a live stream of all the action for free or cheap:

Upcoming Euro 2024 matches

  • July 6: Quarterfinals, England vs Switzerland, 12:00 p.m. ET, Fox
  • July 6: Quarterfinals, Netherlands vs Turkey, 3:00 p.m. ET, Fox
  • July 9: Semifinals, Spain vs France, 3:00 p.m. ET, Fox
  • July 10: Semifinals, Netherlands/Turkey vs England/Switzerland, 3:00 p.m. ET, Fox
  • July 14: Final, Spain/France vs TBD, 3:00 p.m. ET, Fox

Is there a free Euro 2024 live stream?

Originally, Fubo was the top option for watching a live stream of Euro 2024 because it had exclusive coverage of a few of the matches. Those matches are over now, though, meaning all you need to watch everything from here on out is Fox.

Fubo, of course, is still a perfectly great option. It’s just not the only option. You can watch a live stream of Fox (live in most markets) via Fubo (“Pro” channel package), YouTube TV (“Base Plan”) or DirecTV Stream (“Entertainment” plan or above). All three are intended to replace cable, so they’re pricey long-term options, but they all come with a free trial.

The Fubo free trial will get you seven days before having to pay anything, while YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream are each five. That means that any combination of two of them should get you through to the end of Euro 2024, allowing you to watch every single remaining match for free.

If we aren’t counting free trials, the cheapest way to watch Euro 2024 matches in the United States is Sling TV.

The “Sling Blue” channel package includes Fox (live in select markets) . It’s only $40 per month, which is already cheaper than any other streaming service, but new subscribers can get their first month for a mere $20.

One very important note here, though, is that Fox is only available live in a very few number of markets, but if you happen to live in one of those areas and you want the cheapest way to watch all of the remaining matches, then this is the way to go.

Watch the Euro 2024 Live Stream from Abroad

A virtual private network, such as the highly recommended NordVPN, can hide your IP address/location and connect you to a digital server in the United States. So, even if you’re physically somewhere else in the world, it still looks like you’re in the US. This allows you to access any of the normally location-restricted streaming services we just covered and watch a live stream of Euro 2024 matches from abroad.

The House of the Dragon season 3 final trailer just spoiled its most anticipated moment

HBO has never been shy about building suspense, so it came as a surprise when the final trailer for House of the Dragon season 3 casually revealed one of its biggest moments up front.

The outcome of the much-anticipated Battle of the Gullet, the centerpiece naval clash that opens the season, is effectively out in the open. Rhaenyra Targaryen wins the battle and takes over King's Landing. For fans of George R.R. Martin's source material, Fire and Blood, this was inevitable. For everyone else, it is a bittersweet spoiler they might have preferred to discover on screen themselves, though the closing moments of season 2 made this development all but unavoidable.

The Hulu app might not be dead right now. But Disney might be working behind the scenes to make you want to use it less. Disney's streaming tech teams are working on a multi-phase plan called Project Gemini, which aims on bringing more of Hulu's content and features into Disney+.

The reports claims that the unified experience is expected to be finished by the end of the year, based on a leaked internal document and two streaming employees. However, Disney told Business Insider that there are "no current plans to sunset" the standalone Hulu app.
