A new promo released by E! today gives us our first look at the upcoming docu-series starring Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce. Premiering Sunday, July 26, I Am Cait will span eight episodes and follow Jenner as she adapts to her “new normal.”

In the trailer, scenes of Jenner getting ready to head out of her house are spliced with beautiful shots of Malibu. At the same time, she tells us in voice-over how “so many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues.” Hers happen to be gender identity issues. As we watch her put on her makeup, she shares that she’s leaning how much pressure women are under all the time about their appearance. The promo wraps up with her driving down the road, and as she does so, she says, “Put it this way, I’m the new normal.”

Just a few days ago, Jenner made her Internet debut and she did it in true Kardashian/Jenner fashion: by tweeting out her upcoming Vanity Fair cover. With a photo shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz, the cover announced her new name. Jenner’s tweet garnered a massive amount of attention; in the first hour, it racked up 65,000 retweets, with her new Twitter account gaining more than 270,000 followers in that same time period.

Vanity Fair shared highlights of their interview with Jenner, which is included in the issue due to hit newsstands on June 9. In it, she shares that “Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets” and that she’d be “free” as soon as the cover came out. Given how forthcoming she’s been in interviews to this point — from Diane Sawyer to more informal ones with family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — we expect her upcoming E! series to continue to provide an honest and eye-opening look at her transition.

After exploring the lives of musical icons with hit films like Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, and A Complete Unknown, Hollywood has brought the King of Pop's story to the big screen with director Antoine Fuqua's Michael Jackson biopic, Michael. Actor Jaafar Jackson plays the lead role as his uncle, Michael, with the film depicting the musical icon's life, from his time performing with his family in the Jackson 5 to his groundbreaking solo career.

Given the extraordinary legacy and controversy Jackson left behind, Michael had to meet some high expectations to present the superstar's story on the big screen. Since it is intended as the first part of a Michael Jackson film duology, Michael presents a strong start to his story, exploring his complex character, strained relationship with his family, and extraordinary achievements as a musical artist.
