Incase’s new GoPro backpack pays homage to pro surfer Kelly Slater

Kelly Slater is one of world’s most renowned surfers, so it’s appropriate Incase partnered with him to create a series of GoPro bags and cases. The Kelly Slater Action Pack Bundle ($330) includes the Kelly Slater Action Camera Pro Pack backpack, which has a GoPro mount built into the strap – for quickly recording without needing to attach any accessories.

The Kelly Slater version of the existing Action Camera Pro Pack has a custom Dolphin Gray color with Aqua Tiger Camo print accents. Incase describes the color combination was inspired by “the appearance of the ocean’s surface and the interplay of light and the dark at dusk.” The bag is made from a 1680D ballistic nylon and 600D poly non PVC exterior for weather resistance. Zippers are also coated for durability.

Inside is a large compartment with a divider that can be repositioned. There are quick-access pockets, and besides a GoPro, you could carry a DSLR/mirrorless camera and an iPad for photography workflows.

What makes the Kelly Slater version unique is the bundled accessories that includes the H20 Mono Kit (a GoPro Hero case), H20 Accessory Organizer, Protective Cover for GoPro Hero, another Accessory Organizer, and a GoPro nest made from Tensaerlite (the name of shock absorption material Incase uses). The weather-sealed H20 Accessory Organizer is made to float, with an interior Tensaerlite frame. Some of the accessories are also available separately for purchase.

If you don’t need the custom design, the regular Action Camera Pro Pack (which also looks cool) is available for $200, minus the accessories.
