Digital Trends, the fast growing online buying guide for the hi-tech lifestyle, today announced a partnership with Internet Broadcasting, the nation’s largest publisher of local news online. The agreement calls for Digital Trends to be the primary provider of technology and consumer electronics video content for the Technology Channels of 60 Internet Broadcasting sites. Internet Broadcasting publishes websites for leading broadcasters including Cox Broadcasting, Hearst-Argyle, The McGraw Hill Companies, Post-Newsweek, and Meredith Broadcasting.

Each of the Technology Channels will feature Digital Trends’ videos that include product sneak previews, reviews, buying guides and trade show coverage. These videos will help users research products, with each video featuring important product information and expert analysis.

“As a top 50 Internet property, Internet Broadcasting provides a key distribution channel to millions of consumers every month,” said Matt Aalto, vice president of business development for Digital Trends. “We are dramatically increasing our brand exposure to a very desirable audience across a number of premium sites.”

“As we continually look to provide rich content to our viewers, Digital Trends provides us with a comprehensive offering of technology and consumer electronics information,” said Clayton Rose, Internet Broadcasting’s vice president of business development. “Digital Trends’ news, reviews, and buying guides will be the cornerstone of our Technology Channel video content and serve as a valuable resource to our consumers.”

Some of the stations included in the agreement are Boston’s ABC affiliate WCVB (TheBostonChannel.com), Denver’s KMGH-TV (TheDenverChannel.com), Atlanta’s WSB-TV (wsbtv.com), Houston’s KPRC (ClickToHouston.com) and Miami’s ABC affiliate WPLG (Local10.com).
