goldeneye 007:reloadedGoldenEye is back and oh so pretty. Earlier this week Santa Monica, California based game publisher Activision announced that fans of GoldenEye 007:Reloaded will soon be able to play the game on Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 consoles. The new launch of the game, formerly exclusive to the Wii, will have the visual upgrade previously hinted at as well as several new features.

The original Nintendo 64 game holds a tender spot in gamer’s hearts. GoldenEye 007 jumped to the Wii and never strayed from Nintendo due to complications. The game was split three ways among developer Rareware (now owned by Microsoft), Nintendo and Activision who owned the James Bond license. Through a compromise, the game eventually made it to the Wii with a new makeover and cast.

The GoldenEye: 007 Reloaded for the Xbox and PS3 will have HD visuals and photorealistic environments running at 60-frames per second. Eurocom also cooked up a brand new engine for the HD release. PS3 players will have the ability to play using the Playstation move and the Sharp Shooter peripheral.

Along with the campaign from the Wii’s reboot, the new game introduces MI-6 Ops Mission modes. These missions will draw from environments in the game and are split into four experiences: Assault, Stealth, Wave Defense and Elimination.

The game will still support the four-player split screen in multiplayer, but will also take advantage of the Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Online mode gets new maps, characters, game modes and weapons as well as first ever 16-player online multiplayer matches.

The downside to the upgrades? No N 64 judo chop melee attack, only a boring gun butt. If you can get past that then look forward to seeing the game in stores later this fall. Check out the not-appropriate-for-kids trailer below.

Samsung QuantumBlack featured.

QD-OLED monitors are known for delivering deep blacks by turning off individual pixels completely. In real-world use, though, that advantage doesn't always hold up. Ambient light reflecting off the screen can wash out those blacks, but Samsung now has a solution.

How is Samsung fixing reflections and washed-out blacks on QD-OLED monitors?

Forza Horizon 6 PC requirements are surprisingly forgiving for a modern AAA game
Your PC might actually run Forza Horizon 6 just fine

Forza Horizon 6 is shaping up to be a new visual showcase, but its PC requirements tell a different story.

Despite the next-gen graphics, the game sticks to relatively approachable specs, especially for modern AAA games. This is a welcome surprise in a time when new titles often feel like they demand a full system upgrade.
