Close to 14 years after the cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer hit the big screen, starring a brilliant ensemble cast of some now very well-known actors, Netflix has confirmed its resurrection through the streaming service. And now, a new teaser trailer confirms who will be reprising their roles in the comedy.

In 2001 when the David Wain and Michael Showalter brain-child was originally released, the cast included a soon-to-be who’s who of Hollywood comedy actors including Elizabeth Banks, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Meloni, and Molly Shannon. The flick, about a team of counsellors on the last day of a fictional Jewish camp in the ‘80s, flopped at the box office. But as each of the cast members stars rose after the years that followed, Wet Hot American Summer picked up a cult following of fans.

So who’s coming back? Drum roll, please….

Virtually all our favorite players will be graciously reprising their roles, including: Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper (Academy Award nominations, schmacademy award nominations), Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, and Michael Showalter. Also back, and confirmed by the trailer, is that indelible 80’s soundtrack that gives the movie that extra touch of hilarity.

Rather than follow the story from the end of the summer and last day of camp, the reboot will be a prequel, looking at the first day of camp. Further details, however, were not disclosed in the trailer. It was all about allowing fans to breathe a sigh of relief that all of their best camp buddies would be returning.

Wet Hot American Summer, which does not yet have an official airdate beyond “this summer,” will be available on Netflix in the form of an 8-episode mini-series.

Radiant Monitor 2 takes a sunlit approach to solve the glare and power problem
This sunlight-friendly monitor wants your laptop setup to leave the cave
Radiant Monitor 2

For most laptop displays, sunlight is the main antagonist. The brighter the day, the harder they work, and the more you start hunting for some shade. The Radiant Monitor 2 takes a different approach. Eazeye’s new portable monitor uses a 15.6-inch transflective LCD, which means it can use ambient light to improve visibility instead of fighting it entirely with a backlight.

In bright conditions, the backlight can be turned off, dropping power consumption to around 3W. Sunlight becomes part of the display system rather than the thing ruining your screen.

Sennheiser's new open-ear earbuds promise stronger bass without blocking the outside world
Adult, Female, Person

Open-ear earbuds have become one of the fastest-growing categories in personal audio. They offer a comfortable fit and let users stay aware of their surroundings, making them ideal for commuting, exercising, or working in shared spaces. The trade-off has usually been sound quality. Without creating a seal inside the ear, open-ear designs typically struggle to deliver the bass and immersion many listeners expect from traditional earbuds.

Sennheiser says the Accentum Clip is designed to address that challenge. These clip-style earbuds are advertised to deliver stronger bass, clear vocals, and balanced treble.
