GoldenEye 007 for Wii shows off multiplayer modifiers

Many, many gamers have fond memories of spending hours staring at a TV along with three other “friends”, trying to find the golden gun, or running for their lives because their only weapon was the god-awful Klobb. In short, the game GoldenEye 007 was one of the most pivotal video games in the development of multiplayer gaming that was ever released, and now it is making a comeback.

Soon you will be able to pretend that you definitely are not looking at their section of the screen as you seem to be preternaturally aware of where everyone else is, thanks to the remake of the James Bond classic for the Wii. The freshly released video below reaffirms the heavy emphasis on the multiplayer mode, both online and off with three of your favorite frenemies.

In total, there are more than 200 combinations of multiplayer game modes to explore, with everything from melee only, to the new paintball mode.

The memories of the original GoldenEye may have drifted to the nostalgia drenched recesses of our minds, but the legacy lives on as a Wii exclusive on November 2.
