Nintendo announced its next wave of amiibo releases, revealing that Final Fantasy VII‘s Cloud Strife and Sega’s Bayonetta will get their own Super Smash Bros-compatible figurines in 2016.

Fire Emblem Fates starring character Corrin will also be immortalized as part of Nintendo’s interactive toy line in 2016.

Nintendo’s amiibo figures feature near-field communication technology that unlocks various elements within compatible games. Super Smash Bros-compatible figures allow players to spar with AI-controlled opponents and save their training data. Trained amiibo can then be summoned throughout the game’s many featured modes.

An amiibo figure featuring Super Smash Bros. fighter Lucas will launch in January alongside figurines featuring Animal Crossing series characters Mr. Resetti, Blathers, Kicks, and Celeste. A Shovel Knight amiibo will also hit store shelves next month, adding a co-op mode to Yacht Club Games’ indie platformer Shovel Knight when scanned using the Wii U’s GamePad.

Another incoming wave of amiibo figures will premiere at retail in North America on March 18, 2016. March’s lineup will introduce Super Smash Bros-compatible figures featuring Street Fighter’s Ryu, Fire Emblem’s Roy, and the Famicom version of Nintendo’s R.O.B.

2016 will also mark the launch of many game-specific amiibo figurines, including a gold version of Capcom’s Mega Man packaged with the upcoming Nintendo 3DS series compilation Mega Man Legacy Collection. An amiibo figure featuring Wolf Link and Midna is included as part of a special edition release for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, which will hit store shelves in the United States on March 4, 2016.

The upcoming Bayonetta and Cloud Strife amiibo releases follow up on recent Super Smash Bros. roster additions. Cloud is available as a DLC character in Super Smash Bros. starting this week, and Bayonetta will join the fight in February 2016.
