“Widescreen for your ears” is certainly an evocative concept, though a difficult one to picture. Bowers & Wilkins announced its new Panorama 2 recently, and are billing the product with a bevy of breadth related adjectives.

A product of the Bowers & Wilkins’ UK division, the Panorama 2 features newly designed low-frequency drive units which the company believes will “deliver improved acoustics on a product that already set the standard.” The Panorama’s casework houses nine such spiffed up drivers and includes two bass woofers, two mid-range drivers and an aluminum dome tweeter featuring Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus tube-loaded technology.

The svelte sound bar promises an immersive sound experience from just one cabinet and a wide-ranging “sweet-spot” that will allow listeners in most any part of the room to feel its full effect.

Three HDMI inputs, one HDMI output and a proximity-sensing display highlight the Panorama 2’s feature set. Expect the Panorama 2 to retail for $2200  in late October 2012.

We’ve yet to get our mitts on one, so the jury’s out on whether or not the product is worthy of its skyscraping price tag; though, admittedly, Bowers & Wilkins rarely disappoints.

This Prime Day, Sylvox Is Offering Up To 28% Off Its Frameless Outdoor TVs
Sylvox's Prime Day sale offers discounts of up to 28% across its outdoor TV lineup, including the Frameless Series, Deck Pro 3.0, and Cinema Series.
Indoors, Interior Design, Appliance

Prime Day is often associated with upgrading devices inside the home, but some of the most interesting deals this year are focused on the spaces outside it. From June 23 to June 26, Sylvox is offering discounts of up to 28% on its Frameless Series Outdoor TVs, bringing down the cost of a category that has become increasingly relevant as homeowners invest more in their outdoor living spaces.

The timing reflects a broader shift in how backyards, patios, and decks are being used. What were once occasional gathering spots are increasingly functioning as extensions of the home, doubling up as entertainment areas, outdoor dining spaces, and even wellness zones. As these spaces evolve, homeowners are paying closer attention to the products they bring into them—not just in terms of performance, but also how they fit into the overall design.

In comparison, Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 cost £219 in the UK, which makes them more than five times as expensive as Xiaomi’s new earbuds. While the AirPods do bring deeper ecosystem features and advanced health features, the Redmi Buds 8 are an affordable alternative for earbuds with ANC.
