Audio manufacturer Nyne introduced the newest member of its Portable Bluetooth Speaker Series, the Nyne NB-250. It’s a tiny, tough little speaker, that the company markets as a party-pleaser. Still, it looks like the speaker is probably best-suited for smaller gatherings as we doubt it is up to the task of rocking a rager.

What is clear, is that the NB-250 is portable and rugged. The speaker is water-resistant, fully rubberized, comes with a shoulder strap, and plays for 8-10 hours on its rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. It can handle a spilled drink or a short free-fall to the floor, meaning it should be a good option for small soirees. It’s also easy to transport, making it a good option for music enthusiasts on-the-go. Nyne even included a  USB port for charging your device while playing – a nice plus.

The NB-250 unit measures 10.2 x 2.12 x 5.78-inches and works with virtually any Bluetooth-enabled device. It utilizes a Class II 2.1V Bluetooth platform, and employs dual passive radiators with its two 2-inch drivers to help handle the low frequencies. Even with the radiators’ help though, the NB-250 doesn’t make it all the way down to the basement, bottoming out at 65Hz – still respectable for such a small speaker.

If you’re looking for pure power and deep bass from your Bluetooth speaker, this may not be the right choice, but we appreciate that this model is not only portable, but practically portable. That being the case, we’ll forgive it sacrificing a bit of power.

The NB-250 is available now at select retailers for around $200.

Prime Day is often associated with upgrading devices inside the home, but some of the most interesting deals this year are focused on the spaces outside it. From June 23 to June 26, Sylvox is offering discounts of up to 28% on its Frameless Series Outdoor TVs, bringing down the cost of a category that has become increasingly relevant as homeowners invest more in their outdoor living spaces.

The timing reflects a broader shift in how backyards, patios, and decks are being used. What were once occasional gathering spots are increasingly functioning as extensions of the home, doubling up as entertainment areas, outdoor dining spaces, and even wellness zones. As these spaces evolve, homeowners are paying closer attention to the products they bring into them—not just in terms of performance, but also how they fit into the overall design.
