Why you should sign up for Paramount+

If you want to watch March Madness 2025 on a streaming service, Paramount+ is one of the more popular options. The first round of the tournament starts on March 20, and it will run until April 7, which is when the NCAA championship game for men’s college basketball will take place. Your Paramount+ subscription will go beyond March Madness though, because for this month, our list of what’s new on Paramount+ features Better Man, an unusual music biopic about singer Robbie Williams, and Strange Darling, which is one of the best thrillers of 2024.

To access the 50% discount on Paramount+ plans, you’ll have to verify your student status through SheerID. You must be currently enrolled in a degree or certificate-granting, accredited institution, and you’ll have to fill out a form that will ask for your school, name, birth date, and email address. Afterwards, you’ll be able to sign up for a Paramount+ subscription at half-price.

Dive into March Madness 2025 with a Paramount+ subscription, and if you’re a student, you can get a 50% discount on any of the service’s plans for a whole year. The ad-supported Paramount+ Essential will go down to $4 per month from $8, or $30 for the year from $60, while Paramount+ with Showtime will go down to $6.50 per month from $13, or $60 for the year from $120. Verify your student status so that you can start your Paramount+ subscription in time for the start of March Madness.
