What’s happened? TikTok and Amazon Music have expanded their partnership with a global launch of a new “Share to TikTok” feature. It lets Amazon Music users post songs, albums, playlists, and even personal listening stats directly into TikTok.

  • The new feature builds on their earlier work in 2024 when the platforms introduced “Add to Music App”.
  • Amazon Music’s Insights feature, which tracks top artists, songs, podcasts, total listening minutes, and awards “Top Listener” badges, can be turned into shareable stats on TikTok.
  • The feature is currently available for all users on iOS and Android.

This is important because: The idea is simple: if you’re listening to something you love, you can now send it to TikTok in a couple of taps.

  • It merges the worlds of music streaming apps and short-form video sharing, letting users broadcast not only what they listen to but how they listen.
  • For artists and creators, it creates another pathway for discovery.
  • From a platform strategy angle, this signals TikTok doubling down on being a music-discovery engine and Amazon Music wanting to ride that wave.

Why should I care? If you use Amazon Music and TikTok, you now get a quicker route to show off your playlist mood or your “this month’s most-shuffled” stats to your followers and maybe get reactions, comments, or new followers who share your taste.

OK, what’s next? Users should check their Amazon Music app. The new “Share to TikTok” button should appear now; try it and see how the shared content appears on TikTok.

  • For privacy-conscious folks: watch how your listening-insight stats are shared as your data turns into shareable posts, so check permissions and controls.

I love testing new apps on my iPhone. Every year, new apps get installed and removed, with very few sticking around for the long haul. Despite my habit of testing and switching apps regularly, some have stuck around, which is a testament to their quality.

These are also the most used apps on my iPhone and the first ones I install whenever I set up a new iPhone from scratch. Here are 5 iPhone apps I cannot live without in 2026.
