Robyn is a business and finance writer who specialises in helping small businesses make sense of complex topics. She’s written about everything from applying for funding and managing cash flow, to navigating the complexities of small business accounting.

Robyn has been helping ambitious entrepreneurs, fintech startups, and early-stage SaaS companies find the right words (and then figure out what to do with them) for over a decade – you might have seen some of her work for the likes of Kriya, Capitalise, Soldo, and ClearBank. During that time she’s amassed in-depth knowledge of all things finance and tech, with a special interest in both payments and alternative lending.

Outside of work, Robyn has an unhealthy obsession with True Crime podcasts, a love/hate relationship with running, and an unwavering affection for good quality coffee.

Her roots are a little hard to pin down having been born in South Africa and raised in Dubai before moving over to the UK. She’s recently dragged her family out to rural Oxfordshire and has big plans to quit corporate life for smallholding one day.
