Ahead of E3, Team Ninja revealed Dead or Alive 6, the first new numbered entry in the fighting franchise in nearly six years. The game uses a new engine and features a few streamlined systems to help beginners hop into the action. Dead or Alive 6 launches in early 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Valve’s return to releasing games kicks off November 28 with ‘Artifact’
Artifact, Valve's Dota 2 trading card game, arrives on November 28 on PC, Mac, and Linux for $20. At launch, the game will have 280 cards which can be bought and sold over the Steam Community Marketplace. Artifact is Valve's first game in five years, marking a return to Valve's commitment to making games.

It turns out Cayde-6 wasn't voiced by actor Nathan Fillion in the Destiny 2: Forsaken trailer. Fillion was unable to reprise his role for the DLC. Nolan North, the voice of Ghost, stepped in for Fillion to voice the soon-to-be-dead Guardian. North previously took over for Peter Dinklage as Ghost.

Rathalos, the massive fire-breathing beast from Monster Hunter: World, swoops into Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood on August 7. You'll have to be level 70 in Stormblood to try your hand at slaying the dragon, but the Monster Hunter: World-themed rewards, including Palicos, will be well worth the struggle.
The new ‘World of Warcraft’ patch kills PvP servers, but not PvP
Ahead of Battle for Azeroth's August 14 launch, patch 8.0 will drop July 17, bringing a slew of changes. Profession progression will change for the better, your artifact will no longer gain power, and stat numbers will be reduced. You can also try out the new PvP War mode, which replaces PvP servers.

Pre-order the ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ GameCube controller now
You can once again pre-order a new GameCube controller. The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate-themed gamepad is available for pre-order at GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy for $30. If you don't have one already, you'll also need a USB adapter, which houses up to four GameCube controllers. The adapter costs $20.
Select Insiders can now access the new Xbox Avatars
The long-awaited Xbox Avatar redesign has arrived for Alpha and Alpha -- Skip Ahead Insiders via the Xbox One Preview Program. As of now, Insiders can take the new Avatar Editor for a spin. Additional customization options and dashboard integration will arrive soon. A public rollout shouldn't be long.
