Ever since Modern Warfare, Call of Duty fans have been obsessed with finding every tip and trick they can to level up faster. Now that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has arrived with a refreshed Prestige system, the drive to grind levels is again at an all-time high. While everything you do does earn you XP, they are not all created equal. Just like picking your Wildcards or Perks, earning XP as fast as possible takes a bit of thought and planning. If there’s a piece of equipment you have your eye on at a high level, or just want to grind through some Prestige ranks as fast as possible, here are the fastest ways to grind XP in Black Ops 6.

Do your dailies

We’ll get the most obvious tip out of the way first. Daily challenges are back and work just as they always have. Every 24 hours you will be given a handful of small optional tasks to complete for a heap of bonus XP. These can be things like getting Scorestreak kills, getting Point Blank Kills, and getting kills with a specific weapon type. Most daily challenges are worth 2,500 XP, which is already a nice bonus, but there is also a fourth one that can be worth between 3,000 and 5,000 additional XP. Each day you log on, you should prioritize your daily challenges.

Tailor your loadout and play the objective

A popular XP-grinding method for Black Ops 6 involves building your loadout for maximum XP potential. Specifically, you should equip the Dispatcher Perk to reduce the cost of non-lethal Scorestreaks and Bankroll to spawn with 150 score toward a Scorestreak. Then equip only non-lethal Scorestreaks like UAV, Counter UAV, and Harp. This will let you not only get the XP from calling in Scorestreaks more often but also gives you more opportunities to earn more XP per kill while they’re active.

Another loadout option that is highly effective revolves around objective gametypes. Here, you want to have the Strategist equipped to automatically boost the XP you earn from playing the objective. As a Field Upgrade, take the Scrambler to earn more XP on assists while in range, and finally use Decoys and Tactical Expert so you can place up to three down. With this setup, Kill Confirmed is the ideal gametype since you will be able to farm plenty of tag pickups, assists, Decoy triggers, and normal kills all at once.

Even if you don’t want to build an entire loadout specifically for XP grinding, playing any objective mode is far better for earning XP than deathmatch games if you at least attempt to play the objective.

Don’t forget Zombies

Leveling up your character will get you new equipment, but weapons also have their own XP to grind for more attachments. We wouldn’t typically recommend Zombies as the best way to earn traditional XP, but it is extremely efficient for weapon XP. New attachments can make all the difference in how well you do in a match, and a win is worth more XP than a loss so it is worth it to play some Zombies to deck out your favorite gun first.

Zombies isn’t a complete bust for normal XP, though. It has its own set of challenges, such as Dark Ops and Calling Card challenges, that are worth plenty of XP. Go for those while taking a breather from the sweaty multiplayer modes every now and then.

Double your XP

And finally, the easiest way to earn XP fast is to double how much you earn. There are only two ways to do this, which is either via Double XP tokens or Double XP weekends.

Double XP tokens are consumable items that, when you activate them, double all the XP you earn until the time expires. These can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as a full hour so use them wisely. Also, make sure you pay attention to whether they are for Player XP or Weapon XP. If you don’t know how to get your hands on these tokens, we have a guide to help you out.

Finally, Black Ops 6 will occasionally host Double XP weekends where anyone who plays in that timeframe — typically from Friday through Monday — earns double XP. If you’re free for any of these weekends, make the most of it by using all the above tips to get as much XP as possible during that time. Keep an eye on the official Call of Duty social channels to keep up with when the next double XP weekend is scheduled.

Corsair has launched the Nightsword v2 Wireless SD Stream Deck gaming mouse, a right-handed wireless mouse with a dedicated Stream Deck launch button, at Computex 2026.

The Stream Deck support is an in-house integration rather than a third-party collaboration, since Corsair owns Elgato. It brings Elgato’s shortcut system directly to the mouse, letting gamers, streamers, and creators trigger app, gaming, and workflow controls without reaching for a separate desktop panel.

Huang confirming a multi-generation roadmap before the first device has even shipped is the clearest signal yet that this is a decade-long commitment.

The PC and laptop industry has run on Intel and AMD silicon so long that most people don’t even question whether these are the only options.

Nvidia just answered that question at Computex 2026, in the form of the RTX Spark superchip, and Jensen Huang’s comments about what comes next suggest that it wasn’t a one-time experiment.

Nintendo plans to release a modified Switch 2 in Europe that will let you swap out the battery without sending the console in for service. The move is a direct response to a new EU regulation set to take effect in February 2027, which requires portable electronics, including game consoles, to support user-replaceable batteries.
