Fall Guys cross-platform support: Everything we know

Add as a preferred source on Google

Fall Guys set itself up for success by launching for free on PlayStation Plus, but the response has been even greater than developer Mediatonic could have expected, especially with the game going free to play on all consoles. As one of the most-played games on both console and PC, as well as one of the highest-viewed games on Twitch, Fall Guys is a bonafide viral hit.

Initially, Fall Guys was restricted to the PS4 and PC, with no cross-platform support. Thankfully, Mediatonic has addressed cross-play with it arriving on all modern platforms. Here’s everything we know about Fall Guys cross-platform support, cross-saving, and split-screen multiplayer.

Is Fall Guys cross-platform?

Yes, Fall Guys now has full cross-platform support for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Games store. Being free to play, as long as you link up your Epic Games account, you can play with friends no matter what system they’re on.

Cross-save and cross-progression

Cross-progression was in the works for a long time but has finally arrived. Now that Fall Guys uses a singular Epic Games account, so long as that account is linked on the platform you’re using, all your progress, cosmetics, level, and everything else will seamlessly follow you from one system to the next. You won’t have to worry about not having your favorite look available, no matter what platform you’re playing on.

What about split-screen?

While Fall Guys would be one of the best in-person party games around, it doesn’t support split-screen multiplayer as of right now. If split-screen does become available down the road, Fall Guys could become an all-time great party games, akin to the Mario Party or Jackbox Games series’.

However, thanks to the game being free and on every console out there with full cross-play support, it isn’t as much of a bummer considering how accessible the game is. Even if you can’t play at the same time, Fall Guys is great to play with friends because everyone needs a cheerleader!

Lego Batman feels like the best Dark Knight game in years and I can’t wait for it
And gamers are absolutely here for it.

It’s been over a decade since Batman: Arkham Knight left players perched on a rainy Gotham rooftop, wondering where Batman games could even go next. Turns out, for years… nowhere particularly exciting.

DC fans have been stuck in a loop of “almost there” and “what was that?” ever since. Gotham Knights tried to pass the torch with a Bat-family RPG that never quite nailed the feeling of being Batman. Then came Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which leaned so hard into live-service chaos that it forgot why people liked these characters in the first place. Loot, grind, battle passes, basically stuff that's great for spreadsheets, not so great for Gotham.

Is Minecraft cross-platform? Bedrock, Java, and console cross-play explained
Yes, but only if everyone is on the same edition. Bedrock supports broad cross-play, while Java stays in its own desktop ecosystem.

Minecraft is an endless sandbox of fun to explore one’s creativity. As great as it is to play alone, it is also one of the best co-op games. Building bases, fighting monsters, and crafting strong weapons are all better with one or more friends to share the adventure with. Because Minecraft is available on almost anything with a screen, you would assume you could play with anyone, but the answer isn’t quite that simple.

Playing with friends on a shared server is one of the greatest ways to experience Minecraft, just like it is for Terraria or GTA V. But in today’s gaming landscape, there is a wide variety of platforms on which people play the game, which may lead you to wonder if this is a cross-platform game.

Open any gaming PC, and chances are the blue icon of Steam is sitting right there on the desktop. Not hidden, not optional, but almost expected. Over time, Steam has gone from being just another launcher to becoming the default storefront for PC gaming, almost like a built-in part of the experience.
