Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro has now made its global debut after launching in India last week. The hardware is impressive, though the first thing most people will probably notice is the way it looks.

The phone has a slim quad-curved body, textured finishes, and Pantone-curated colors that give it a polished look. Motorola has also paired that styling with a very bright 5200 nits 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, which should make the phone easy to use outdoors.

What makes the Edge 70 Pro look different?

The design is the main talking point, with Motorola offering four distinct looks for the Edge 70 Pro. There is a natural wood finish in Pantone Chicory Coffee with Cocoa Cream accents, a wool-inspired Pantone Titan finish with Orient Blue accents, an acetate Pantone Lily White version with Whisper Pink, and a silk-inspired Pantone Zinfandel model with Sangria accents. Each version has its own distinct texture as well.

What else does it have to offer?

Other than the design and finish, the Edge 70 Pro somehow manages to fit a large 6500mAh battery into its slim profile. It has 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, Android 16 with 5 years of software support and a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor. The 6.8-inch AMOLED has a refresh rate of 144Hz and comes with Pantone Validated color calibration.

For optics, the phone uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 as its main sensor, paired with a periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, an ultrawide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera.

In the UK, the Edge 70 Pro costs £749.99, while in Europe, it is priced at €799. France gets a higher €899 price tag, which makes the phone quite expensive for a mid-range device. The phone will also reach the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks. This release comes after Motorola refreshed its foldable lineup, including a new book-style Razr Fold.
