Tom has been writing about tech since 2019 (but fixing his mum's laptop for a lot longer) with the most experience in mobile tech, fitness, and audio-visual gadgets. He's tested tech around the world, taking phone cameras around places like Venice and Salzburg and testing camera lenses in the Australian outback. For various brands he's also written about gaming and entertainment hardware, because he likes looking at fancy TVs and hearing fancy sound systems.
Prior to becoming an independent contributor, he was part of the phones team at TechRadar and then worked as an editor at What to Watch.
