How to download movies and TV shows

Whether you are on a device running iOS, iPadOS, or MacOS, the download process is the same. Take note that at this time, you cannot download content for offline viewing on Apple TV devices, smart TVs, and other streaming devices.

Step 1: Open the Apple TV app on your device.

Step 2: Search for the movie or TV show you wish to download.

Step 3: Choose the download button (downward-facing arrow) at the top of the title screen.

Step 4: Once your video has been downloaded, you can access it by navigating to the Library tab and then the Downloaded section from within the Apple TV app.

To remove any downloaded content from device, chose any title that has an iPhone with a checkmark icon next to it and tap Remove Download. You can also just delete with a swipe or bulk delete via the Edit button right from your Downloaded folder.

What content can I download?

If you’re subscribed to either Apple TV+ or an Apple TV channel, you can choose to download any TV show or movie for later viewing. The Apple TV+ later viewing ability is available for select Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac. Any content you download is available for up to 30 days, but Apple notes that some content may expire sooner. Some Apple TV channels may limit how many titles can be downloaded at a time; if you hit that limit, a message will give you a heads-up to delete some previous content.

Amazon’s Alexa+ just moved into your Bose speaker, if you’re willing to pay the rent
This is a signal that the AI assistant race is expanding well beyond the devices Amazon builds itself.
Alexa+ arrival on Bose speakers.

Amazon has officially expanded its AI assistant, Alexa+, beyond the company’s own hardware. Along with the announcement of its Lifestyle Ultra speakers, Bost has also announced that Alexa+ is coming to its lineup of speakers and soundbars across the United States.

This is a first for any non-Amazon audio brand. What’s even more interesting for me is that the rollout covers both new and existing Bose devices.
