Samsung’s next foldables may arrive in a surprisingly wide range of colors and storage options. A new report from Digital Citizen claims to reveal the full color and storage lineup for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

Samsung does not seem to be dialing back choice for its next premium foldables. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is reportedly coming in Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Pink, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 may launch in Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Pistachio. The higher-end Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is said to get Cream, Graphite, Green Shadow, and Violet Shadow.

Cream and Graphite appear to be the shared neutral choices across all three models, while Mint and Pink could give the Flip 8 a brighter, more playful look. Lavender is not new territory for Samsung, but Pistachio could stand out on the wider Fold 8 if the shade is handled well. The Shadow finishes sound like deeper versions of green and violet, though the report does not include renders, so the exact look of these colors remains unclear for now.

Samsung may offer plenty of storage options

The storage options also look fairly generous. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is reportedly listed with 256GB and 512GB storage, while both the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra may come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations.

That is notable at a time when many smartphone makers are reducing the number of configurations to deal with rising RAM and storage costs. Since Samsung’s next foldable models will sit deep in the premium category, the company does not seem to be cutting back too aggressively.

The Fold 8 naming picture is getting clearer

The three-model lineup has been rumored for months, and this report adds more weight to that expectation. The taller, more premium model is said to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra name with model number SM-F976B, while the shorter foldable may simply be called Galaxy Z Fold 8 (SM-F971B), not the previously rumored Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide.

While Samsung has not yet confirmed a launch date for these foldables, rumor has it that they could land in the second half of July. Previous reports have suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 may finally get a more useful cover display, though charging speeds may not see a major upgrade. The Fold 8, which is expected to be the main focus this launch cycle, is said to arrive with a tablet-like inner display, though it is also rumored to miss out on top-of-the-line camera hardware.

Galaxy S27 leak suggests Samsung could reuse the same cameras yet again
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone in blue color.

Every year, Samsung takes the stage and promises better photos. One year, it's brighter night shots; the next, smarter AI editing, sharper zoom, or more realistic colors. That's pretty standard for any flagship launch. But if the latest Galaxy S27 rumor is accurate, some people may start wondering whether they're hearing a new story or just a slightly updated version of last year's.

A new rumor suggests Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 could arrive without any major camera hardware upgrades, potentially extending a streak that’s beginning to raise eyebrows. If the leak is accurate, the company may once again rely on the same core camera sensors that have powered several generations of its standard Galaxy S lineup.
