Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit

Phone maker Xiaomi has confirmed the Xiaomi Mi 10 phone will be one of the first to use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, while Nokia, Oppo, and Motorola have also said new phones with the chip will be out in 2020. It's not just the processor that makes these desirable, it's that all will have 5G too.

Almost exactly a year after the launch of the Snapdragon 845, Qualcomm took the wraps off of its next-generation mobile platform, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The new chip puts an emphasis on A.I. performance, 5G, and computer vision, while naturally increasing performance and efficiency.

Qualcomm has finally taken the wraps off the highly anticipated Snapdragon 845 chip, which will power a new generation of phones.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon Technology Summit begins December 5 with a keynote that may launch Windows 10 laptops based on the Snapdragon 835 chip.
