All ray tracing games on PC: AMD Radeon and Nvidia RTX ray tracing

Add as a preferred source on Google

The best graphics cards all support ray tracing now, whether you use a recent Nvidia RTX card or AMD Radeon GPU.  We rounded up every game that supports ray tracing on PC now, as well as several titles that will support the sophisticated lighting tech in the future.

Ray tracing is demanding on your graphics card, but the list of ray tracing PC games continues to grow. If you don’t want to sort through the mess, make sure to read our roundup on the best ray-tracing PC games to know which ones to download first. And if you’re a beginner, jump to the bottom section to find out what you need for ray tracing on PC.

Ray-tracing PC games available now

Although dozens of games support ray tracing, it doesn’t always come in the same form. Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition only uses ray tracing, for example, while Forza Horizon 5 doesn’t have ray tracing in the main game (just in the showroom for your cars). Both are still among the best games to show off your PC, though.

The good news is that games support AMD Radeon and Nvidia RTX ray tracing now, so you don’t have to be worried about getting locked out with a specific graphics card. Here are all of the ray tracing games on PC you can play now:

Ray tracing games coming soon

Ray tracing is launching in new games and coming to old ones all the time, so we rounded up ray-tracing PC games that are coming soon. Some of these titles are new releases that will include ray tracing — such as Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered — while others will received a ray tracing update later (like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt).

There are new ray tracing games coming all the time and even more with reported updates in the works. We kept our list to games that are confirmed to have ray tracing, but the list of upcoming games with the tech is likely much larger. Here are some select ray-tracing PC games coming soon:

  • On Air
  • The Day Before
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

What you need for ray tracing on PC

RTX 3080 graphics cards among other GPUs.
Jacob Roach / Digital Trends.

Ray tracing isn’t available across the board on PC, even if you’re playing a game with ray tracing support. You need an Nvidia RTX or AMD Radeon RX 6000 or later GPU with the latest graphics card driver installed.

Although ray tracing is a staple of modern GPUs, that doesn’t make it any less demanding. Nvidia offers Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) for its cards to improve performance. On the other hand, AMD has FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), which works with both Nvidia and AMD cards. We recommend turning on either one of those, if they are available if you want to play a game with ray tracing.

You may want to consider DLSS 3 frame generation, or FSR frame generation too, though those technologies are only supported by a handful of games at the time of writing.

Amazon announces Prime Day sales date and it’s happening a tad earlier this year
Amazon moved Prime Day to June for the first time, quietly positioning it ahead of the back-to-school season.
Electronics, Computer, Tablet Computer

Amazon Prime Day is back, it is four days long again, and, for the first time in Prime Day’s history, it’s kicking off in June rather than July.

So, if you spent last summer waiting until mid-July to buy that thing at a discounted price, you now have about two fewer weeks to make up your mind.

Google Photos is finally making backups and exports a tad less vexing
Incremental exports can save time and storage, though setup requires a Photos-only Takeout schedule.
Art, Collage, Plant

Google Photos backups are getting a little less wasteful for people who use Takeout to keep their own copy of a photo library.

This is aimed at Google Photos users who don’t want Google to be the only place their photos live, especially anyone keeping a second archive on an external drive, NAS, or another cloud service. Google says Incremental Takeout for Photos will make recurring downloads faster and more efficient once the initial archive is complete.

Asus V700 Mini desktop serves a wood-grain finish and it’s a design trend that must stay
Asus’ V700 Mini Tower wraps AI PC hardware in a wood-grain design made for actual living rooms.
Computer Hardware, Electronics, Hardware

Asus’ V700 Mini Tower, announced at Computex 2026 gives the home desktop a rare design win. The new mini desktop keeps the practical shape of a tower PC, but swaps the usual cold box look for clean lines, soft contours, and a wood-grain finish meant to sit where people can actually see it.

That visual shift does real work. A mini desktop doesn’t have to be hidden under a desk, tucked behind a monitor, or parked beside a router because it looks too harsh for the room. Asus introduced the V700 Mini Tower as part of its Computex 2026 AI PC lineup, and the warmer design is the detail that gives it a sharper identity.
